The following information is provided by the New Hampshire Musculoskeletal Institute's Safe Sports Network:

Student athletes will be offered state-of-the-art sports physicals free of charge at the Apple Therapy Manchester Clinic. This evaluation includes an extensive look at the athlete's medical history and present physical condition, and several tests to determine if the athlete can safely participate in their sport. Athletes 11 and older are eligible.

Pre-registration is required.  Look for and download the 2013 Apple Therapy form on the Athletics Forms web page.

Mark your calendars: Physical exams will be held on June 6 at the Apple Therapy/NH Orthopaedic Center, 35 Kosciuszko St, Manchester.

Please understand that these physicals are designed specifically for sports participation and they are intended as a supplement to, rather than a substitute for, ongoing health care by a family physician or other specialist. These physicals are not designed to treat or evaluate chronic medical conditions.
