High School Winter Sport Tryouts!
Winter Sport tryout schedules are now posted on Family ID. Please make sure that all athletes have registered on the Family ID website at least 12 HOURS PRIOR to tryouts! Athletes must have proof of a current physical exam within the past year on file and must also have proof of insurance. All athletes must be enrolled in and passing at least four classes.
Tryout dates and times subject to change. Please address all inquiries to your school's athletics coordinator.

FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION READY FOR HIGH SCHOOLS
On-Line Sports Registration, is now ready for Central, Memorial, and West High Schools. Parent and/or Guardian can access on-line registration, via Family ID, by going directly to each school's web page, or by visiting www.familyid.com. All first-time users of Family ID, must first establish an account, with username/password, prior to accessing the registration platform. Please note, High School Fall Sports Season begins Wed August 10th, for Football, and Monday August 15th for all other sports. |
Manchester Athletes Shine at NHIAA Meet of Champions
Congratulations to Manchester Track & Field Athletes for their performances at the NHIAA Track & Field, Meet of Champions, held this past weekend at Winnacunnet High School. Track Athletes from across New Hampshire competed in both Track & Field events, with the top six finishers earning the right to qualify in the New England High School Outdoor Track and Field Championships, in New Britain, CT,this Saturday, June 8th. The following Manchester Athletes have placed in their respective event, and will be participating in New Englands this Saturday. Jacob Stanko-Senior, Central High School Jacob placed first in the Discus, throwing 148 feet, second in the Javeling throwing 186.6 feet, and placed 4th in the Shot Put throwing 48.7. Stanko also set a new state record throwing the javelin, at 200.9 feet at the Division 1 Meet. Mollie Simpson-Sophomore, Memorial High School Mollie placed 5th in the 400 Meter, with a time of 59.99 seconds. Julia Robitaille-Freshman, West High School Julia finished 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run |
Central vs. Salem Softball QRTR Final Start Time moved for Graduation
Due to graduation for Central HS, tomorrow's start time for the NHIAA Quarter Final Softball game between Central and Salem has been adjusted. The original start time, scheduled for 4:00 PM, has been moved up to 10:00 AM to accommodate Central's graduation. The game will be played at Salem High School. |
MS TRACK MEET CANCELLED, FRIDAY 5/13
Friday's 5/13 MS Track Meet between Hillside, Parkside, and Milford Middle Schools' has been cancelled. Due to scheduling conflicts the Meet between all three schools will not be rescheduled. Hillside and Parkside next meet will be Wednesday, 5/18, at Gatsas Track Field-Livingston Park, 4:00 PM. |
Central Captures D1 Basketball Title
Congratulations to the Central Boys Basketball Team for winning the Division 1 NHIAA Boys Basketball Title. The Little Green defeated Merrimack 60-58, in an overtime victory at UNH's Lundholm Gymnasium. Merrimack had a chance to win the game, during the OT period, with a 3-pointer that went through at the buzzer, but the officials ruled the shot was taken after time had expired. Senior, and Divison 1's Most Valuable Player this season, Jalen Leroy, led all scorers with 25 points in the game, scoring seven of them in the overtime period. Central was 14-4, during the regular season, and we're the #3 seed going into the tournament, beating Keene, Bedford, and Winnacunnet during their tournament run. It is their second state title in three years, and fifth overall under the Head Coach David "Doc" Wheeler. |

Safe Sports Network will be hosting our annual FREE Sports Physicals Night on 3/16 from 5:30p to 7:00p at the NHOC office in Bedford, NH. The following information lists the dates and times for try outs for Fall Sports Teams at Memorial High School: Football: Wednesday, Aug. 12, report to locker room at 7:30, morning session runs from 9-11:30, afternoon 3-5:30, catered luch first day. Cheerleading: Wednesday, Aug. 12, mini- gym 3:30 to 5. Boys Soccer: Monday, Aug. 17, double sessions, 9 AM and 4:30 PM, Memorial field. Girls Soccer: Monday, Aug. 17, double sessions, 8-10 AM and 4-6 PM at St. Anthony's field. Field Hockey: Monday, Aug. 17, 7-10, Turf field at Memorial. Volleyball: Monday, Aug. 17, 1-3, Memorial Gym.
