Congratulations to the Central Boys Basketball Team for winning the Division 1 NHIAA Boys Basketball Title. The Little Green defeated Merrimack 60-58, in an overtime victory at UNH's Lundholm Gymnasium. Merrimack had a chance to win the game, during the OT period, with a 3-pointer that went through at the buzzer, but the officials ruled the shot was taken after time had expired. Senior, and Divison 1's Most Valuable Player this season, Jalen Leroy, led all scorers with 25 points in the game, scoring seven of them in the overtime period. Central was 14-4, during the regular season, and we're the #3 seed going into the tournament, beating Keene, Bedford, and Winnacunnet during their tournament run. It is their second state title in three years, and fifth overall under the Head Coach David "Doc" Wheeler.
